Terms of Service
Feature Detail
Description
The Terms of Service page defines the contractual terms under which organizations and users may access and use the Meander platform. It covers acceptable use, account responsibilities, service availability expectations, intellectual property rights, limitation of liability, governing law, and termination conditions. The document is intended for organizational buyers and administrators who need to understand their obligations and Norse Digital Products' responsibilities before committing to the platform. It is a foundational legal document for the commercial relationship.

Analysis
The Terms of Service is a prerequisite for any commercial engagement with organizational customers. Procurement and legal departments at NGOs and public-sector-adjacent organizations require this document as part of vendor onboarding and due diligence. Without it, sales cycles stall at the contract stage. A well-drafted ToS also protects Norse Digital Products by clearly delimiting liability, defining the scope of the service, and establishing dispute resolution mechanisms. It signals organizational maturity and readiness to engage with established institutions, which is critical when targeting Norwegian non-profit organizations that may have formal procurement requirements.
Implemented as a static Next.js page with no authentication requirement. Structure should use clearly numbered sections with anchor navigation for legal referencing convenience. The page must be versioned with a visible effective date and should cross-link to the DPA, SLA, and Privacy Policy. Content is managed as structured markup; no API calls needed. Ensure the page is crawlable and included in the sitemap. Consider providing a downloadable PDF version for organizations that require offline documentation for procurement files. Page must meet WCAG 2.2 AA standards for accessibility.
